JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia – The Consul General of the Federal Republic of Somalia in Jeddah, H.E. Abdi Wali Hirsi Abdulle, has engaged in a series of significant diplomatic meetings with his counterparts from the Republic of Türkiye, the Republic of Iraq, and Brunei Darussalam.
Accompanied by senior officials from the consulate, Mr. Abdulle held separate bilateral sessions to strengthen ties and foster closer collaboration. He met with the Turkish Consul General in Jeddah, Mr. Mustafa Unal, the Iraqi Consul General, Mr. Mustafa Al-Shayic, and the Acting Consul General of Brunei, Mr. Farhan Abdiqani.
The high-level discussions focused on a range of critical issues, primarily centering on the enhancement of diplomatic and working relationships between Somalia and the respective nations. Key topics included the facilitation of trade exchanges and the exploration of strategic investment opportunities to boost economic growth.
Furthermore, the meetings addressed the acceleration of cooperative frameworks. A major point of discussion was the creation of employment opportunities designed to benefit the Somali community, with a specific emphasis on securing a prosperous future for the new generation of Somali youth.
