DOHA (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Salah Ahmed Jama, has spoken at a significant conference focused on the Social Protection and Care Program. The high-level event was jointly organized by the Federal Government of Somalia and the Government of the United Kingdom.
The conference, held in Doha, Qatar, represents the second round of discussions aimed at strengthening social care services. The initiative is a core part of efforts to provide robust support for vulnerable families and build a resilient society capable of responding to economic and social challenges.
In his address, the Deputy Prime Minister noted the critical importance of the program. Mr. Jama emphasized that this initiative will play a vital role in poverty reduction and in promoting self-sufficiency for Somali families.
