Mogadishu, SONNA – The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, has noted significant progress at Aden Adde International Airport, following his recent directive to improve services and facilities.
During an inspection visit today, the Prime Minister highlighted the remarkable difference between the airport’s current state and when he last visited two weeks ago.
“These are two very different days today and 14 days ago when I arrived here, a change is visible at the airport. I arrived today with some of the machines that were working and replaced while the rest are still working,” said Prime Minister Hamza.
The Prime Minister further instructed airport management to accelerate repairs to the airport’s cooling system and ensure passengers have access to fresh water. He set a one-week deadline for these tasks to be completed.
This marks the second visit by the Prime Minister in a fortnight, underscoring his administration’s commitment to improving service delivery at Somalia’s main gateway.
