Belgrade, (SONNA) – The Minister of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, today visited the Military Technical Institute in Belgrade.
He was received by senior officials from Serbia’s Ministry of Defence, who briefed him on the institute’s work in advancing defence technology, including unmanned aerial systems, weapons equipment, and armoured vehicles.
The visit forms part of Somalia’s broader efforts to strengthen the capacity of the Somali National Army and explore new avenues of cooperation with international partners.
