Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, held a performance review session with ministries under the Social Affairs and Good Governance cluster, as part of his ongoing accountability framework for the DanQaran government.

The ministries presented the progress achieved over the past year in line with the commitments they signed a year ago, highlighting priority programs and key targets met.

Achievements reported by the ministries included improvements in social services, healthcare and education, human rights protection, family welfare, cultural and religious development, youth empowerment, environmental protection, and public awareness campaigns through media, cultural institutions, and religious leaders.

The Prime Minister directly questioned ministers on their performance against the targets previously shared with the Somali public, emphasizing evaluation and continuity of progress.

Mr. Hamza commended the ministries for their efforts, underscoring the importance of accelerating implementation and maintaining transparency and accountability to strengthen the efficiency of government institutions.
