Algiers, (SONNA) – The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Algeria, H.E. Yusuf Ahmed Hassan (Yusuf Jeego), held a high-level meeting today with Algeria’s Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Kamel Badaari, to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of education.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing ties between the two nations, particularly in the education sector. Ambassador Yusuf Jeego called for greater support from the Algerian government in advancing Somalia’s higher education system and expanding opportunities for Somali students to access scholarships in Algeria.
The discussions concluded on a positive note, with both officials expressing a shared commitment to elevate educational collaboration between Somalia and Algeria.
