Kigali, SONNA – The non-resident Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to the Republic of Rwanda, H.E. Ilyas Ali Hassan, officially presented his credentials to H.E. President Paul Kagame on Wednesday during a formal ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.
At the reception, Ambassador Ilyas Ali Hassan conveyed warm greetings from H.E. President Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to President Kagame, underscoring Somalia’s strong commitment to enhancing friendly ties and expanding bilateral cooperation with Rwanda.
In response, President Paul Kagame expressed his gratitude to Somalia, highlighting the deep-rooted historical relations and longstanding friendship between the two nations.
