Geneva, (SONNA) – The Minister of Health and Human Welfare of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Ali Haji Adam, held a high-level meeting with Türkiye’s Minister of Health, Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu, on the sidelines of the WHO General Assembly.
The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health sector, including the development of healthcare services, improvement of health infrastructure, and capacity building for Somali health professionals.
Minister Dr. Ali Haji Adam expressed his deep appreciation for Türkiye’s unwavering support to Somalia and reaffirmed his Ministry’s commitment to accelerating joint health initiatives that deliver tangible benefits to the Somali people.
