Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud chaired the National Consultative Council meeting in Mogadishu today.
The meeting which is expected to discuss issues of common interests for the Somali people will also discuss ways to eliminate terrorism from the country including the Al-Shabaab and ISIS militants.
The meeting brought together representatives from Galmudug, President Ahmed Abdi Kaariye (Qoorqoor), Hirshabelle, President Ali Guudlaawe Hussein, President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed of Southwest, the leader of SSC-Khaatumo, Abdikadir Ahmed Aw-Cali, the Mayor of Mogadishu, Ahmed Mohamed Amir, the Prime Minister and the his Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, Hamza Abdi Barre and Salah Ahmed Jama.
