Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe), visited injured soldiers receiving treatment at Hodan Hospital in Mogadishu. The soldiers were wounded during a military operation aimed at eliminating terrorist elements in parts of the Bakool region.
During his visit, the Speaker toured various wards where the injured soldiers were being treated. Doctors and hospital officials briefed him on the condition of the wounded and the ongoing efforts to ensure their recovery.
Speaker Madobe also inspected different sections of the hospital and held discussions with its management. He expressed his gratitude for their commitment to providing essential medical care to the public, particularly to those wounded in the line of duty.
The visit comes amid intensified security operations by Somali forces to eradicate extremist groups threatening stability in the country.
