Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army have successfully cleared mines from the crucial road between Mesagaway and Barak-Sheikh Amir, ensuring safer travel and improved connectivity in Galgaduud region.
The mines planted by the Al-Shabaab terrorists was intended to prevent movements of the local residents between those areas and to harm to the Somali people.
The army is still in pursuit of the remnants of the terrorist militants in the area of Galgaduud and the rest of the country.
