Mogadishu, (SONNA) – After weeks of intensive deliberation, both Houses of the Parliament successfully concluded debate of the Fourth Chapter of the Constitution amendments. Throughout course of debate, MPs and Senators actively participated by providing comprehensive comments and suggestions, which were of immense value.
Chair of ICRIC Burhan Adan Omar presented all the minutes and suggestions in a digital system. This meticulous and comprehensive analysis allowed MPs and Senators to develop a clear understanding of the discussions and proposals that were brought forward during the debate.
Furthermore, the Chair of OC delivered a concise summary of the debate, with particular emphasis on the fourth chapter of the constitution.
ICRIC will incorporate into final version suggestions from parliamentary debates and consultations. It will be presented to Parliament.
