Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somali National Army and International Partners on Saturday morning conducted an airstrike operation at several areas in Mudug region, targeting Al-Shabaab militants.
Government officials are expected to provide details about the operation soon.
But the operation comes days after the Somali National Army and Local forces recaptured key areas including Masagaway in eastern part of Galgudud region under Galmudug region. It also came a day after Somali and U.S forces killed a senior Al-Shabaab leader in the middle Jubba region.
