Mogadishu, (SONNA) – Somalia’s state-building efforts get a boost from the European Union, the Minister of Information of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Daud Aweis Jama said that €20 million from the €89.5 million Multi-annual Action Plan for Somalia will be used for vital budget support.
“In a significant development, the European Union has announced a substantial Multi-annual Action Plan worth € 89.5 million. Out of this amount, € 20 million has been allocated to provide critical budget support, aimed at bolstering Somalia’s ongoing state-building endeavours”, Information Minister said.
