Mogadishu (SONNA) – On 1st January 2022 the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare is responsible for the protection and issuance of the Covid-19 Certificate of Immigration. The Ministry of Health certifies below that laboratories that have a work permit for COVID19 testing are those that meet the requirements set by the ministry for COVID19 testing.
People who need COVID19 testing are advised to travel only to get screening services at sites and laboratories approved by the ministry and they will serve the community at a cost of $30 as per the service agreement between the two parties.
NT: Government hospitals will only test for COVID19 for people who are ill or Doctors that suspect they have the disease, but not for the purpose of testing for COVID19, while travellers will be tested at laboratories approved by the department.
