Addis Ababa,(SONNA) –Ethiopia’s federal high court charged Seventeen individuals with terrorism offences over allegedly kidnapping Dembi Dolo university students.
The students had been abducted in November, 2019 while they were travelling back to their families from the university due to security concern.
The defendants were charged with abducting and transferring the students to the armed group OLF Shene, and hiding information from security forces.
The federal high court adjourned the trial to August 6, 2020.
