Mogadishu(SONNA)-Veteran Somali Comedian, Abdi Muridi Dhere aka Ajakis on Monday passed away at Yerdimeli hospital in the capital Mogadishu after days he was in a comma, SONNA reported.
Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Osman Abokar Dubbe extended condolence to the family of the deceased comedian, Ajakis.
” I am extending condolence to the family of Abdi Muridi Dhere Ajakis who died in Mogadishu now, may his soul rest in peace. My condolence to the family, friends, and Somali people for the loss of the artist”, Dubbe said.
The deceased comedian has been working for Universal TV station in Mogadishu and has been in the field of profession for over two decades.
