Mogadishu(SONNA)-President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sh. Mohamud has on Saturday attended the 79th anniversary of the foundation of the Somali Police Force and called them to keep law and order and serve the public well.
The President urged Police to keep army rules, and disciplines related to their taskforce, ordering them to be epicenter to the fight against corruption and narcotics which are challenging factors to ensuring national security.
“I am telling Somali Police Force Command that they should prevent police forces to use narcotics, it is an enemy disabling soldiers from fulfilling their duties, a person with drug addicted should not be allowed to join Police force”, President Hassan said at the occasion.
