Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The State Minister of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Omar Ali Abdi, accompanied by the Commander of the Somali National Army’s Land Forces, Brig. Gen. Sahal Abdullahi Omar, today received at the Ministry’s headquarters Col. Ahmed Fathi Abdelsatar Al-Husseini, the Defense Attaché of the Embassy of Egypt.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in defense, training, and preparations for the deployment of Egyptian forces who will soon join the African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM).
