Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Speaker of the Upper House of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, hosted the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, Mr. Wang Yu, at his office today.
During their meeting, Speaker Abdullahi and Ambassador Yu engaged in comprehensive discussions on the bilateral relations between Somalia and China. They explored various avenues to further strengthen the ties between the two nations.
Ambassador Yu reaffirmed China’s unwavering support for the Somali government and its people. He emphasized the ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation between the Upper House of the Federal Parliament of Somalia and the National People’s Assembly of China.
