Mogadishu, (SONNA): The Speaker of the Federal Parliament, His Excellency Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur, and the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Hamsa Abdi Barre, along with officials from the South West State Government, attended a significant ceremony in Baidoa last night. The event marked the six-year anniversary of the presidency of His Excellency Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed (Laftagareen) of the South West State.
The ceremony celebrated the achievements and progress made during the six-year term of President Laftagareen, reflecting on the milestones reached in governance and development in the South West State. The presence of high-ranking federal and regional officials showed the importance of the occasion and the unity between the Federal Government and the South West State.
The gathering in Baidoa also provided an opportunity for leaders to reaffirm their commitment to continued collaboration and joint efforts in advancing the nation’s development and ensuring stability and prosperity for its residents.
