Baidoa, (SONNA) — The President of South West State of Somalia, H.E Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen chaired a high-level security meeting in Baidoa alongside the African Union Stabilization Mission in Somalia’s (AUSSOM) Sector 3 Commander Brigadier General Teklu Hurisa Janka and other senior officials.
Discussions focused on strengthening the region’s security, accelerating counter-terrorism operations, and enhancing coordination among security agencies for improved public safety.
President Laftagareen praised the collaboration between AUSSOM, ENDF troops, SNA, and local security forces for maintaining regional peace and stability, urging continued vigilance.
