Mogadishu (SONNA)- Director of the Somali National News Agency (SONNA) Mr. Ali Abdulkadir Ali congratulated all the staff of the agency on celebrating the 57th anniversary of the establishment of the agency and sent his congratulatory message to the people of Somalia, SONNA reported.
“On behalf of the administration of the Somali National News Agency (SONNA) I would like to congratulate all the staff of the Agency (SONNA)on celebrating the 57th anniversary of the establishment of the National News Agency on 5th , January 4, 1964.I all wish the staff of SONNA a prosperous life ahead and entire Somali community who are willingly celebrating with us.” Said Director Ali
Director Ali Abdulkadir Ali described the previous (SONNA) officials and staff of the agency as heroes who served their country, wishing them success too.
The Somali National News Agency (SONNA) has in the past been quoted in the international media as a source of information on Somalia, especially the government, and is now regaining its status in the world, with international agencies quoting it.
