Mogadishu, Somalia (SONNA) – The Ministry of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development of the Federal Government of Somalia convened a significant consultation meeting on Monday in Mogadishu to accelerate the National Transformation Plan (QIQ: 2025-2029). This strategic gathering aimed to coordinate development efforts across the nation, drawing participation from international donors, United Nations agencies, and various global organizations.
The meeting was inaugurated by the Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Management, Mr. Mohamud Abdirahman Sheikh Farah (Beenebeene). In his opening remarks, Minister Farah emphasized the critical role of international cooperation in advancing Somalia’s development agenda. He highlighted the successes of the Ninth National Development Plan (NDP9) and outlined the ambitious vision and goals of the forthcoming National Transformation Plan.
