Dar es Salaam, (SONNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, met on Tuesday in Dar es Salaam with his counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the friendly United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Amb. Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, and discussed with him ways to strengthen bilateral relations and broaden cooperation in various sectors to achieve mutual progress and deepen partnership.
The meeting brought together ministers and senior officials from both countries, underscoring the shared commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation. Discussions focused on deepening engagement in key areas of mutual interest.
Key topics included trade facilitation, air transport, visa arrangements, and cultural exchange. Both sides emphasized the importance of improving connectivity and easing the movement of people and goods, agreeing to take practical steps to advance cooperation and regional integration.
