Malabo, (SONNA) —The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdisalam Abdi Ali, represented Somalia at the 11th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States, held in Malabo.
During the summit, the Minister delivered a key address highlighting Somalia’s national priorities, with a strong focus on advancing economic cooperation and enhancing the country’s engagement in international platforms to unlock development opportunities.
On the sidelines of the summit, the minister held bilateral meetings with counterparts from other member states, discussing ways to strengthen diplomatic ties and expand multifaceted cooperation. These engagements form part of Somalia’s broader efforts to reinforce its global partnerships and alliances.
The minister reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to working closely with all OACPS member states to achieve the organization’s long-term vision of peace, prosperity, and genuine cooperation among countries across Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific.
