The discussions focused on enhancing Somalia’s health sector through increased financial support and stronger bilateral cooperation. Dr. Ali Haji Adam expressed gratitude for the UK’s ongoing international assistance in health and other key sectors, highlighting its impact on Somalia’s development.
The meeting also emphasized collaboration in implementing Somalia’s new National Health Plan (2025-2029), which aims to improve healthcare accessibility and quality nationwide. The UK has been a key supporter of Somalia’s health initiatives, and both officials explored ways to further strengthen this partnership.
