Kampala, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, traveled to Kampala, where he will close a training units of the Somali National Army Forces.
The President was warmly welcomed at Entebbe International Airport. He thanked the government and the people of Uganda for their role in the reconstruction of the Somali Army, who are selflessly facing the war against Al-Shabaab terrorists, sacrificing their blood for the liberation of their country and regional stability.
The President will point on the quality of the training received by these battalions of the Armed Forces, while sharing the significant achievements of our forces in the operations to liberate the country from Al-Shabaab terrorists.
President Hassan Sheikh stressed the importance of reforming the Armed Forces, which is the foundation of the government of our country and to achieve a quick victory in the fight against terrorism in the country.
