Mogadishu, Somalia (SONNA) – The Commander of the Somali Police Force, Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi, convened a significant security meeting in Mogadishu today with the force’s leadership, divisional commanders, and heads of independent police units.
The meeting focused on the nation’s security situation, where detailed reports on the current security landscape were presented and discussed. Participants emphasized the critical need to accelerate efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability across the country.
During the session, the Police Commander instructed security officials to rigorously implement the new security development plan. He further urged intensified efforts to counter the malicious acts perpetrated by Khawarij groups, who continue to inflict suffering upon the Somali people.
