Mogadishu (SONNA): Somali Partnership Forum starts in Mogadishu today to discuss the electoral process, Justice, Security and Economic development of the country.
The session was chaired by the Prime minister of the federal republic of Somalia H.E Mohamed Hussain Roble and joined by the Government’s top officials, Heads of federal member states and members of the international community in Somalia.
The conference will mainly focus on the upcoming elections, Security, Economic Development, National Debt relief program and the recovery plan for recent humanitarian crises (Floods, Droughts) in Somalia.
The Meeting will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Guled, Ministers of Defense, Security, Justice, Constitution, Women along with the Independent National Electoral Commission Chairwomen Halima Ismail Ibrahim.
Members of the international community will join the forum including UN Special Representative to Somalia James Swan, the African Union Mission in Somalia, Ambassador Francisco Madeira and other officials.
Somalia’s International partners and friends has showed unwavering support for Somalia’s ongoing recovery and progress.
