Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army foiled an attack by the Al-Shabaab terrorists who tried to hit the district of Bardale in the Bay region.
The army had information about the intent of the terrorist militants and killed the leader of the militia who attacked the district.
The residents of Bardale district confirmed the attack to the Somali National News Agency (SONNA) and said that the army foiled the ambush they intended overnight.
The terrorist leader who was killed by the Somali army after they tried to attack the district of Bardale was known as Abdi Salaad, as confirmed by sources at the scene.
