Mogadishu(SONNA)-At least 10 terrorist militant members from Al-Shabaab group were on Tuesday killed and some others injured after Somali National Army’s Commandos(Danab) conducted special military operation at Gambale location, 48 KM to Jowhar town, the capital of Middle Shabelle region and the administrative capital of Hirshabelle State in Somalia, SONNA reported.
SNA-Commandos for Unit 7 Sect, Hassan Mohamed Osman told SNA Radio that the army took action against the enemy as soon as they learned an intelligence report about the group militants planning to menace locals in Gambale location in the morning.
He added that the operation completed successfully, noting that they would continue it until they open all main roads leading to major towns in the region as the group sometimes try to blockade them.
