Mogadishu (SONNA)-The Somali Chief Army, Brigadier General Odowa Yusuf Rage, held discussions with the Commander of the European Union Mission in Somalia (EUTM)B. General Fabiano Zinzone in Mogadishu,SONNA reported.
In a meeting at the Ministry of Defense, the two commanders discussed on the strengthening of the Armed Forces and giving more training to fight against the terrorist group Al- shabab
The European Union’s military training mission is working to improve the quality and equiping the somali National Army(SNA).
“I thank the EUTM officers for their support to the Somali Forces ,we are greatful to the commitment and efforts you have placed for the army ,we urge you to continue collaborating with us and to redouble efforts to rebuild the Armed Forces.” said General Odowa.
For their part, EUTM officials expressed satisfaction with the co-operation with the Somali National Army.
