Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) has recently provided aid to nearly 2,000 families in the Coastal area of Jazira in Afgoye district in the Lower Shabelle Region.
These families, alongside the displaced people who were previously in this area and the underprivileged, have been forcefully evacuated by the Al-Shabaab terrorists from their homes in the coastal areas of Lower Shabelle, including Gandarshe, Dhanane, and Jilib Marka.
In attendance at the distribution area were Sahra A. Yusuf, SoDMA’s director of relief, Abdullahi Osman Hirabe, the district commissioner of Afgoye, Mohamed Yare, the regional relief coordinator of the Lower Shabelle, and the District Commissioners of Jazira and Gandarshe.
