Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) recently extended humanitarian aid to 7,000 vulnerable families residing in the Garasbaley area, with a focus on the Galmudug district.
The relief supplies, which included Iftar essentials, were distributed among impoverished households and IDPs. Many of the beneficiaries were forced to leave their homes due to conflicts and the devastating El Nino floods that ravaged the country last year.
SoDMA’s Director of Relief, Sahra Ali Yusuf, and MP Qasim Saeed were both present at the aid distribution, overseeing the fair and equitable delivery of assistance to those in need.
