Guriel, SONNA – The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) has provided critical assistance to 120 families in Ceelka Daboole, near the Guriel district. The beneficiaries included vulnerable groups such as the poor, orphans, and those severely impacted by the ongoing La Niña drought.
The assistance was part of SoDMA’s ongoing efforts to address the devastating effects of drought across the region, which has left many families struggling to meet their basic needs. The support delivered to Ceelka Daboole aimed to alleviate the challenges faced by these families during this difficult time.
The affected families expressed heartfelt gratitude to SoDMA for the timely intervention, which they said had provided much-needed relief and hope.
