Dhusamareb (SONNA)-The president of the Federal Republic of Somalia HE Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has officially opened the consultative meeting between the Federal government of Somalia and the Federal member states in Dhusamareb the capital of Galmudug state, SONNA reported.
Ahmed Abdi Kariye (qorqor) The president of Galmudug state addressed the media after the opening of the conference and gave his appreciations to the President of the federal Republic of Somalia, Heads of States for attending the conference on the promised date and time by showing their responsibility to move on with the outcome on the previous Dhusamareb conference in July this year.
“Today we thank the Almighty Allah for bringing us together in this Dhusamareb conference 3 as we continue with the meeting to address various issues, and hope for the best by discussing the plan submitted to us by the Electoral Technical Committee, as the leaders agreed on a number of issues related to the country’s upcoming elections, As we all know the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia is present in the conference together with the Presidents of South West , Hirshabelle and the Mayor of Banadir Region. ” said Galmudug state President.
The leaders were to discuss ways forward as the key agendas based on the meeting were, the country’s Electoral process, the political process and National security.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Presidents of Galmudug state, HE Ahmed Abdi Kariye (qor qor), Hirshabelle state President HE Mohamed Abdi Waare, South West state President HE Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed (Laftagaren)and the Governor of Benadir Region Omar Mohamud Mohamed (omar filish).
