Baidoa, (SONNA) — The President of South West State of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen, has officially laid the foundation stone for the South West State Teacher Training Center in Baidoa, the administrative capital of the state.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by the South West Minister of Education, Culture, and Higher Learning, H.E. Zahra Osman Ahmed, the Mayor of Baidoa and District Commissioner, Mr. Abdullahi Ali Watiin, along with other senior government officials.
The upcoming facility will feature various sections dedicated to training and equipping teachers across South West State, aimed at improving the quality of education and strengthening the teaching workforce in the region.
