Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, visited wounded Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers and local forces receiving treatment at the Armed Forces Hospital and private medical facilities.
The President personally checked on the injured troops, assuring them of the government’s commitment to providing full medical care. “Your government is dedicated to ensuring your well-being. You are heroes defending your people and your country, standing on the path of righteousness,” the President told the recovering soldiers.
During the visit, President Hassan Sheikh also inspected the operations, equipment, and services of the military hospital. He received a briefing from Chief of Defense Forces, General Odowaa Yusuf Raage, and the hospital’s management on ongoing improvements and the facility’s current needs.
