Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, had a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The two Presidents discussed how to strengthen the strategic cooperation between the two brotherly countries, especially in the fields of energy and defense.
President Erdogan confirmed that Turkey will continue its support to Somalia, stressing the importance of Türkiye to the independence, dignity and unity of the country and the Somali people and supporting the operations of the Armed Forces to eradicate terrorism.
