Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, received Mr. Souleiman Hassan Waberi, President of the Djibouti Football Federation, Vice President of CAF, and a member of the FIFA Council, at the Presidential Palace in Mogadishu.
President Hassan Sheikh expressed Somalia’s appreciation for Djibouti’s active role in global football through its FIFA membership and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to strengthening sports diplomacy and exchanging expertise in various athletic disciplines.
The meeting was attended by Somalia’s Minister of Youth and Sports, the President of the Somali Football Federation, and other senior officials.
