Mogadishu, Somalia — In a commendation ceremony held today, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud recognized the selfless dedication of security officers and education officials who contributed to the smooth execution of the recently concluded high school national exams. The event, attended by dignitaries and stakeholders, highlighted the pivotal role played by these individuals in advancing education and stability in the country.

The Ministry of Education received special accolades for its tireless efforts in organizing and overseeing the examination process. President Mohamud emphasized the significance of education as a cornerstone for progress, emphasizing that while much has been achieved, there is still work to be done. “Our collective commitment remains one of solidarity,” he stated.

Areas previously affected by insurgent groups have now regained a sense of normalcy, including access to education. The President emphasized the importance of evaluating these achievements, particularly in the ongoing fight against terrorism.

In a stern message, President Mohamud urged the public to refrain from supporting terrorist organizations. Security agencies are actively pursuing individuals on the government’s list of sympathizers and collaborators, with the aim of ensuring safety and stability for all citizens.

This recognition ceremony serves as a clear indication to Somalia’s resilience and determination to build a brighter future through education and security cooperation.
