Asmara, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said that Eritrea has ‘always supported Somalia’s sovereignty’, and expressed his gratitude in an interview with Eritrean TV.
He stated that Eritrea has supported Somalia and the fight against Al-Shabaab extensively. He added that Eritrea has also defended Somalia’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, which is its global stance.
President Mohamud said that President Isaias Afwerki confirmed this to him in Asmara.
