Mogadishu (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has extended his congratulations to the Somali people and Muslims around the world on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan, calling for collective support to assist Somalis affected by the ongoing drought across the country.
The President offered special commendation to the Somali National Armed Forces, praising their round-the-clock efforts to protect the lives and property of the Somali people despite harsh conditions. He lauded their visible role in maintaining security, liberating territories, and stabilizing the nation.
President Mohamud also urged the public to prioritize the national interest—particularly security—and to strengthen unity and social cohesion during the blessed month.
