Mogadishu (SONNA):The President of Federal Republic of Somalia H.E Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo held talks with The Chairman of Libya’s presdential council H.E Dr. Mohamed Yunis Al-Manfi to thank him for his role in repatriating Somali nationals stranded in Libya, SONNA reported.
The two sides agreed to strengthen the long-standing ties and cooperation between the two brotherly nations and to jointly work in the areas of security, regional stability, combating terrorism and illegal migration.
H.E Dr. Mohamed Al-Manfi expressed the respect and admiration of the Libyan people for the Somali people , reaffirming his commitment to provide all necessary support to Somali natìonals stranded in Libyan territories.
In the recent years, the Somali Goverment has made tremendous efforts in repatriating Somali nationals held in foreign prisons, many of those people are now living freely and degnified in their country.
