Mogadishu(SONNA):The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia H.E Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has received on Wednesday the credentials from the newly appointed Ambassadors of Egypt and Norway to Somalia, Mr. Mohamed El-Said Ahmed Al-Baz and Mr. Gunner Andreas, SONNA reported
The Ambassador of Egypt, H.E Mohamed El-Said Ahmed Al-Baz, shared with the President a message of greetings from his Egyptian counterpart, H.E Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, outlining his commitment to strengthening the historic ties between the two brotherly nation.
Meanwhile, the Norwegian Ambassador to Somalia, Mr. Gunner Andreas, who presented his credentials to the President, shared with the President his gratitude for the warm welcoming extended to him by the people and government of Somalia.
President Farmajo and the new Ambassadors discussed the strengthening of diplomatic relations and cooperation between the Federal Government of Somalia and the Governments of Egypt and Norway, the President shared with the Ambassadors the significant achievements and significant progress made by the Federal Government of Somalia in the areas of security, economy, debt relief, combating terrorism and re-establishing the National Army.
The President told the newly appointed ambassadors of Egypt and Norway that they are welcomed by the Somali people and the Government of Somalia will continue to support them in fulfilling their diplomatic missions.
