Addis Ababa (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo attended the 35th session of the African Union Summit which opened today at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa. The conference is attended by African Heads of State, Heads of International Organisations, and other observers.
The President and his delegation, will present the Federal Government of Somalia’s vision for the future of Africa and Somalia’s efforts to fight terrorism, recover from the effects of COVID-19, and address floods, drought prevention and locusts, all of which are threats to the African continent at the summit that will go on for two days.
