Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Office of the Attorney General of the Federal Republic of Somalia on Tuesday held a meeting to present achievements made in 2025, outline plans for 2026, and review activities that were implemented or not implemented under last year’s action plan.
The two-day meeting was chaired by the Attorney General, Suleiman Mohamed Mahmoud, and was attended by all departments of the prosecution service, the Secretary General, and directors from various sections of the Office.
During the meeting, departments presented reports on accomplishments and challenges encountered in 2025, while also outlining their strategic plans and priorities for the 2026 calendar year.
In his closing remarks, the Attorney General commended the efforts and progress achieved under the previous year’s plans. He urged all departments to intensify priority work and to ensure effective implementation and execution of the 2026 plans approved during the meeting.
The conference forms part of the Office’s ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional performance, accountability, and strategic planning within the national prosecution service.
