Damascus, SONNA – Mr. Farhan Abdi Gurhan officially handed over his duties as the acting Ambassador of Somalia to Syria to his successor, Mr. Dahir Mohamoud Muse in a formal ceremony held at the Somali Embassy in Damascus.
The event was attended by diplomats and embassy staff, marking a significant transition in the embassy’s leadership. In his farewell speech, Mr. Farhan expressed his satisfaction with the accomplishments during his tenure and emphasized the ongoing need to enhance the embassy’s services.
Mr. Dahir Mohamoud Muse, the new acting Ambassador, is expected to continue the efforts to strengthen diplomatic relations and improve the embassy’s operations.
