Jowhar, (SONNA) – A delegation from Somalia’s National Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (NIEBC) and the Boundary Commission arrived today in Jowhar, the administrative capital of Hirshabelle State, to advance preparations for upcoming voter registration activities.
The delegation includes commission members, technical trainers, and experts in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), who will spend the coming days training local registration staff and facilitating the coordination of registration centers and equipment.
The mission marks a key step in strengthening electoral infrastructure and ensuring a smooth rollout of the voter registration process across the region.
